Spring Trends: Restricted Shoes
Hi, my name is Rachel, and I have a shoe problem.
There, I’ve said it. And guess what? I am owning it!
I buy at least one pair of shoes per month and when I do, I try to make sure they are something new, different, and I don’t already have them in 12 other colors. I like shoes that challenge me to try new outfits I don’t normally try.
I came across Restricted Shoes, and they certainly offered a wide variety of unique but classic styles. I’m itching for summer, so I chose a simple black strappy-heeled sandal.
A little bit about Restricted - they are a fashion-footwear brand based in Los Angeles. They focus on promoting individuality to make you feel great in your #ootd.
What I love most about these shoes is that they are not your boring average two-strap sandal, but they have a cross-over strap that adds a trendy touch.
I also love that the 2” heel is a wooden material that makes the perfect spring/summer transition shoe. (It also lets people know you’re coming! Click-clack!) The wooden accent on the heel makes it easy to pair with my floppy sun hat of the same color. I have a straw circle bag, and it brings those spring or summer lighter-browns into your outfit.
I’ve put together two looks with these shoes for Spring and Summer that I absolutely adore. The first is what I call my brunch outfit: I paired these shoes with a culotte sleeveless romper and denim jacket.
The second look is the shoes with my denim shirt a tie-front blouse, and my floppy sun hat.
The shoes have a little padding on the sole that makes them more comfortable than normal flat sandals or even heeled-sandals. The strap over the toes tapers so that you aren’t sliding out of them, making them easy and comfortable to walk in - especially with the heel.
I love a good block heel. I think it’s classy and more comfortable than even flats or especially stiletto-type heels. These are perfect for spring and summer.
If you like them as much as I do, use my code THENEUTRALCONCEPT25 for 25% off your order! (Mine are called Hashtag. They come in a camel color as well with gold buckle accents.)
